Creating an Alignment Bundle

Once you have added and aligned all datasets in a site, you can create an alignment bundle. The purpose of an alignment bundle is to save the locations of datasets and use that information for creating a navigation graph and maps for the associated datasets.

Follow these steps to create an alignment bundle.
Note: Bundles created in NavVis IVION 10.0.0 are not compatible with versions lower than 10.0.0.
  1. Go to Site Setup > Dataset Management.
  2. Click Create new bundle to open the bundle editor.
  3. Enter a name for the bundle.
  4. Set the View and Edit permissions for the bundle. This gives the respective groups the permission to view or edit the navigation graph and maps associated with the alignment bundle.
  5. To add datasets to the bundle, select the datasets you want to add from the Datasets without bundle column and click the arrow pointing left.
  6. To remove datasets from the bundle, select the datasets you want to remove from the Datasets in bundle column and click the arrow pointing right.
  7. Click OK to save the bundle.
  8. To edit the bundle after saving it, click the pencil icon next to the bundle name and make the desired changes.

After creating an alignment bundle, you can add it to the site database.
